1. Introduction
Gensform ("Gensform," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at gensform.com and the Gensform web application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
2. Information we collect

3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

- Generate aggregated, anonymised analytics to understand how the Service is used.
4. Data sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted third parties only as described below:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, and AI model providers — bound by data-processing agreements.

- Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Gensform or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyse usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Service functionality. We use analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics) that collect anonymised usage data.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud).
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you promptly if a breach affecting your data occurs.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

9. International data transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
